Major Industries Training Advisory Council is a not for profit organisation funded by the Northern Territory Government. 

 

We provide information, advice and services to the Northern Territory Government, industry, training providers and the public on vocational training and related issues.

 

The industries under our scope include some of the major drivers of the Northern Territory economy such as mining, construction and utilities.

The Construction Web Diaries

 

 

'The Construction Diaries - Building Foundations for the Future' project is an on-line web diary that will follow the progress of an Indigenous pre-employment training program in construction.

 

The aim of the diary will be to raise awareness of the issues, both positive and negative surrounding training Indigenous Australians from regional and remote areas for careers in the construction industry.
